Here at Upholstery Design Solutions, we will use a mixture of both modern and traditional methods to bring your old furniture to life again. From new springs and foam, to re polished timber and mended feet, our love for furniture means your restoration will always be of the highest standard.
Whilst all restorations are completed in house, there are occasions where your furniture may need to go externally to another local South Australian business. This will be required for traditional French polishing and other polishing not suitable for our factory. We have access to a few local polishers one out north the other down south, we only trust your antiques to certain businesses’ this way you receive the utmost quality for your well loved antique.
The same applies for selected frame restorations such as carving repairs, whilst we can fix most minor repairs, dowel joints or leg stability, carving damage or missing parts are often a specialty of an antique frame repairer. Again we have access to appropriate assistance and will organise to have any required repairs completed prior to upholstery work being completed.
