Adelaide is on fire in Channel Seven’s Restaurant Revolution and, if we may be so bold, they certainly deserve to be in the box seat because their bench seating is superb!
As you have probably guessed, Upholstery Design Solutions was chosen to supply custom booth seating for the shipping container restaurant in Victoria Square by hospitality retailer Concept Collections.
It was a great challenge, working within the confines of a shipping container but that is where we have built our experience, crafting custom seating for restaurants, bars, cafes and clubs of all shapes and sizes.
Ingredients for 28 Street seating
If you’re planning seating for a restaurant, it is worth ducking into 28 Street while it is operating to see how the fitout was planned and how the booth seating fits the space.
The Adelaide team needed to fit in a lot of seating in a small space and they wanted to style their restaurant to have a look that was similar to when they were growing up.
Some vintage looking fabric matched with a leather look vinyl and we helped to create bench and dining seating specifically designed to suit their restaurant.
All in a day’s work for vintage-loving upholsterers
For us, the challenges were very satisfying:
- Fit a large amount of seating into a Shipping container – Check!
- Needed Custom made bench booth seating in short space of time – Check!
- Can you use a designer fabric to give our seating a specific look? – Check!
Why not check out our range of Booth, Banquet and Bench seating and see just what we can help you with.
And one final revelation. We were relieved they wanted vintage fabric because we specialise in retro and vintage styling from deep buttons and fluting to designer piping and fabric matching.
Come on, Adelaide!
