Warranty on Our Services
Upholstery Design Solutions warrants to rectify, repair or replace if this is an option, at no charge to the purchaser, any part of the frame construction or manufacture which Upholstery Design Solutions determines to be defective in workmanship or thus preventing normal use of enjoyment. This warranty will be for a period of 2- 5 years for commercial use and 10 years for domestic use.
The warranty period commences when:
- All goods have been delivered
- Where, any installation work necessary by Seller has met practical completion
- Where, required by the quotation, the installation has been signed off by the Buyer’s representative
The Warranty given by Upholstery Design Solutions shall only apply to the original purchaser from an authorised seller of furniture or from Upholstery Design Solutions direct. It is not transferable or assignable.
To the extent allowed by law, any implied warranties including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited in duration to the duration of these written warranties. Upholstery Design Solutions shall not be liable for loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss, incidental or consequential damages.
Provisions Applicable to All Products
Upholstery Design Solutions will, free of charge, repair or replace your furniture with a comparable product, any product, part or component which fails under normal use as a result of such defect in material or workmanship.
The warranty does not extend to, or cover, furniture, which in the opinion of Upholstery Design Solutions is damaged by abuse or negligence or normal wear and tear. Natural variations occurring in wood and leather are not considered defects.
Our warranty excludes fabrics and leather, as Upholstery Design Solutions are not manufacturers of these items. However every effort will be made to negotiate a satisfactory settlement with the supplier on your behalf, if any covering is agreed to be defective.
Should it be necessary to return furniture to Upholstery Design Solutions to effect repairs or replacement, all transportation charges shall be prepaid both ways by the purchaser unless Upholstery Design Solutions determines in writing to the contrary.
