Description
Outdoor cushions can be a fun addition to any outdoor entertaining area. Please do not be fooled by cheep imports, nothing worse than seeing half of your seat cushions fading in the sun. This can happen with some imported cushions as the fabric they use is often not suitable for our harsh Australian sun.
Whilst you can use almost any fabric on your outdoor cushion, we recommend you use fabric’s that are appropriately treaded to withstand the harsh Australian conditions all year round.
We recommend the use of outdoor fabric that has been developed to withstand commercial sunlight exposure requirements, mould and mildew growth, chlorine damage and general wear and tear. Warwick’s SUNDEC includes all of the above and include a water repellency and microbial hygiene protection making it suitable for stylish outdoor living.
We also have access to Zepel and Sunbrella outdoor fabrics all of which have been tested to suit the Australian great outdoors.
If your cushions see a lot of weather and chlorine from wet bottoms after getting out of the pool, than the internal foam is also very important as most imported foam will deteriorate even with an outdoor fabric on them.
We use 100% Eco Cushion Inserts from Innergreen that have a corn fibre casing that holds 100% recycled PET fibre which has been derived from post consumer water bottles. So not only are they environmentally friendly, they are suitable for outdoor use. Whilst scatter cushions do flatten out over time, these cushions will thrive with a general fluff up from time to time.
